    2 Tier Wedding Cake Class

    During this class you will:
    • Work on one real tier (pre baked sponge) and one dummy tier and you will learn how to prep dummy cakes as this is becoming increasingly popular when clients order wedding cakes. 
    • Learn how to make a luxurious white chocolate ganache. 
    • Split, level and fill your 8 inch cake with ganache. 
    • ​Crumb coat using chocolate ganache. 
    • ​Apply a final layer of ganache and get super sharp edges with the use of the profroster. 
    • ​Apply a thin layer of sugarpaste and we will cover the best brands to work with 
    • ​Get a sharp edged sugarpaste cake with the use of acrylic smoothers and flexi smoothers. 
    • ​Learn to smooth out any imperfections in the cake. 
    • ​Learn how to prep your dummy cake.
    • ​Learn how to dowel your cake and how to create a internal support structure for your cakes. 
    •   ​Decorate with gorgeous artificial flowers.
    • ​Learn to lustre with the use of lustre dusts and a rejuvenator spirit. 
    • ​Add a glitter square border. 
    What will you go home with:
    • Your 2 Tier decorated cake.
    • ​The confidence to move into wedding cakes, allowing you to create a more rewarding business.
    • ​A box will be provided for you to take your cake home in, but if you will be travelling by public transport you may wish to bring a large bag to carry your cake home in.
